1. Who we are

This site (https://marathonswimming.ro or https://marathonswimmingromania.com) belongs to the ROCARPAT MARATHON SWIMMING Sports Club Association, headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, CIF 50397897. The site is used by the Association, but also by the founding members as a personal blog.

2. What personal data do we collect and why?
We collect personal data provided by users through:
• Contact forms and event registration – Information entered by users is stored to allow participation in events organized by the association.
• Email – Data transmitted by email is used exclusively to respond to user requests.

3. Where is the data stored?
The information provided through the website is stored in a database hosted on iTO.London servers. It is not transmitted to third parties.

4. How we use information and how long we keep it
• The collected data is used to process requests, including for contacting the user, subscribing to the newsletter or participating in sporting events.
• We do not impose a fixed data storage period, as it may be necessary for future reference (e.g. event attendance history).
• Users are also informed about the use of data through the Regulations of organized events.
• If you would like your information to be deleted from our database, you can contact us and we will remove it as soon as possible.
